So if the second best team in the country and the third best team in the country play each other, and the second best finds a way to win, that makes the third best team not be elite? Really?
Wisconsin doesn't even count as part of America
We're ranked seven and you are ranked eighth. I don't know why you're calling us out when we were clearly much better than you last year.
As for not being elite in 2010, are you out of your mind? We had two losses to teams that went a combined 24-2. The losses were by a combined twelve points, and we were the only team all season to beat Ohio State. We scored 70 points against three different teams. We were at worst the eighth best team in America last year, and were probably the third best team in the country once our team adjusted to injuries.
\Rankings are really meaningless outside of the top 2.
Michigan St 34
Wisconsin 24
Alabama 49
Mich St 7
17 total points scored in a loss to a severely undersized TCU defensive line in the 'Grand-daddy of them All'.
You are being called out because this is not fucking elite status. Nor was what Wisconsin accomplished in 09, 08, 07, 06, 05, .....yada yada yada
Ohio St, Michigan, and Penn St can claim Elite status at some point in their history. Wisconsin has yet to join that status.
They're lucky We could just fence them off. I say fuck the mexico border. Let's build the fence there.
I am sooooooooooooooo sick of hearing about russle fucking wilson
but see, you were not the third best team...you are letting your homerism influence your overall view of your team, making you think they were the third best team in the country....do you think you could beat alabama last year?
I am sooooooooooooooo sick of hearing about russle fucking wilson
I was just challenging your logic. I think we were probably the fourth best team in the country last year, behind (in order) Auburn, Alabama, and TCU. Yes, I think we were better than Oregon, Ohio State, Stanford, Oklahoma, LSU and everyone else besides the three teams I listed above.
Because the ranking system is stupid and overpenalizes teams for losing to good teams. Anybody who saw the Rose Bowl knows we were just as good as TCU. It was a coin flip game, and TCU won. If TCU was the second best team in the country (and I really think they were), there is no way we were worse than fourth or fifth.
Yep. Nobody giving us any respect.
