96 games were played against FCS schools this year, of those, 25 were played by 2 conferences, the ACC and SEC. Might as well go back to 11 games and screw the automatic win for playing FCS teams (only 3 wins by FCS schools this year against very poor BCS teams). If they want to keep 12 games make it so that any auto-qualifer school that plays an FCS school is ineligible for the BCS NC game.

ok time to bash every single BCS bowl to show how bad this system sucks what a joke

Postseason scrimmage game- LSU vs Alabama- what a joke this became this is basically now just a post season scrimmage to display these players to the NFL and to rob fools of their money because this game means nothing they already played and LSU won, so LSU is already the champions, Alabama got in despite Oklahoma State having better wins.

Orange Bowl - Clemson vs West Virginia, here's where the autobid sucks neither of these teams really have any business in these bowl games Clemson has lost 3 of their last 5 including a 37-13 loss to NC State, West Virginia is a complete joke they were destroyed 49-23 by 5-7 Syracuse, also beaten by 5-7 Louisville, blown out by LSU and they lost to someone else that sucks too I don't even remember who

Sugar Bowl- Michigan vs Virginia Tech, what a joke that Michigan's in a BCS bowl they get in here over Michigan State who exposed Michigan for the overrated team they are yet because Michigan State played a tougher schedule and got in the Big 10 championship game they miss out. Meanwhile Virginia Tech the joke isn't them getting in a BCS bowl, it's that they get a slightly better game because they LOST their ACC championship, maybe teams should just lose important games it seems to benefit them more Virginia Tech just learned that.

Fiesta Bowl- Stanford vs Oklahoma State- Stanford only played two good teams all year and beat one in triple overtime and got blown out by the other, Oklahoma State meanwhile should have been in the championship game.

Rose Bowl Oregon vs Wisconsin- now this is the best game, you know why?? because this is the bowl that has been least screwed up by the BCS

You do realize that was a replacement game for an FBS school that backed out at the last moment don't you. It wasn't like in the SEC where every team plays an FCS school second to third last week of the season. Really, the SEC needs to adjust their conference schedule to have those games played in September so they can schedule FBS teams because the other FBS teams are in the middle of conference play. The only reason the SEC does this is to skip playing FBS schools with the conference schedule they do and saying "we can't get other FBS schools to play us." I don't know what the ACC's excuse is.

The AP would probably award LSU the title in the first scenario, but I wouldn't be convinced. Media, fans, etc claim OSU has a weak defense, but LSU hasn't played an offense of OSU's caliber either.

This is the case many times. Our games with JMU and our game against App State this year were all three replacement games on short notice. It sucks but sometimes it ends up happening, especially if the game you lose is a home game. I agree that we should just not have those games but the payoff ends up helping pay for that playoff we all hail in the FCS.

our last game against a lower division school was because Oregon State pulled out from playing us
