Been watching football since the days of Roger Staubach and Terry Bradshaw and those guys and I have never been more glad to see a season come to an end than this year.

The expansion Texans weren't this bad. Probably because it was expected for them to suck.

Anybody else glad to see this 2013 nightmare come to an end?

You might be jumping for Joy if Bridgewater comes out

That would be a pretty good reward for putting up with the year the Texans have had

I don't want a QB. I think, if we fix our oline, Keenum could become a solid starter. Personally, I am hoping we can find some fool who will Ricky Williams their draft away for the top pick.

I'm glad that regurgitated opinions based on popular national narratives will simmer down for a while, but otherwise I'll miss the games. The season seems to fly by faster than any other pro sport season.

Keenum could be solid but Bridgewater has the tools to be special. And you never know about the trades Washington not faring so well after RG3 trade and we all know how the Williams trade went

This year, and the last month in particular, has been almost unbearable and has been about as bad as I can ever remember as a skins fan. What an excruciating year. Shock jocks, Social media and undisclosed sources have taken a tragic season and lifted it to new heights of absurdity and speculation.

Even so, I remind myself how I much I love the game of football. And even with the suckiness, I love my team. And that, this too will pass.

For me, football season is always too short. It always seems like I'm getting pumped up in August, and then before I know it, we are in week 17 and talking about playoffs.

Coming into the season as a favorite and just completely bombing the season, well because of injuries. I'm glad this is the last week for my Falcons.

venting

Al Davis with his increasingly bizarre and erratic behavior transformed a once proud, feared, and respected franchise into a virtual punchline and confirmed that one of the most innovative and successful teams in it's short history was being run by a dictatorial and very vindictive (and finally, flat crazy, IMO) master. Marcus Allen, Mike Shanahan and Jon Gruden were telling clues that something was very wrong for a very long time in Oakland and Los Angeles.

Throw in a bakers dozen unfortunate and even tragic events, injuries and death and you get what we have here today. Don't get me all wrong I loved and respected Al Davis for many, many years, but in the end it was sad to watch the old man refuse to delegate more authority and deteriorate with his hands still firmly gripped to the wheel of the "ghost ship" that was the Oakland Raiders.

It's yet to be seen if the new regime can right the ship, but we should get a better idea next year with a healthy surplus coming from the salary cap.

I must be a glutton for punishment because the end of the postseason is still by far the saddest day of my sports year.

Too old to switch, and too young to give it up!

Ya need a QB Rob. There is tremendous talent on your team. I never ever believed IsMyCubeIntact was a good coach.

I think I have said this before, but in two years, the AFC South will be the dominant division in football if you guys play your cards right and Tennessee doesn't blow up their team.

As long as it does not come at my Colts expense, I hope you get back your swagger. Man I loved Stabler and the Fat Man coaching da Raiders. Those were some days.

Thanks for your support Blue, I think the NFL is definitely more exciting when The Silver&Black is relevant (of course I would think that). :laugh3:

I definitely don't mind if they stay in the gutter for a few more years :suds:. Just kidding I actually enjoy when the AFC West is competitive and the games in week 17 actually matter like this week where both AFC West games were huge. Not a big fan of seeing the Chiefs play their back ups though but it is what it is.

I would say yes but there isn't much to look forward to in the next year or 2 for the Cowboys. Going to get worse before it gets better. The window to win has closed with key guys like Witten, Ware, Hatcher and Romo all getting older, not a ton of youth to replace those guys, no cap room to bring in help, and a "GM" that I don't trust to draft the right guys. Plus if JG is back it'll be more of the same.
