Feuding with Cena is bigger than the belts as far as WWE is concerned. That's why he gets the main event, even when he's just wrestling Kane.

Yeah and that's the problem. Just when it seems his character is progressing into something fresh like his feuds with Kane and Rock, they revert back to this crap.

Lesnar interferes, costs Cena the match. Johnny keeps his job, Brock doesn't get fired because Triple H wants his revenge. Brock vs Trips is set up and a Brock/Cena rematch is put into place at some point. I really can't see this match being booked any other way, unless Cena wins and Johnny gets fired...which I highly doubt since Johnny is being pushed so hard.
