An Idiot Abroad is a must see. On Netflix and is greatness. It's a British show but if needed you can turn on the subtitles just to make sure you don't miss any type of phrases or anything. I recommend it to all.

Ricky is such an ass to Karl. I really liked when Warwick Davis joined. Their chemistry was hilarious.

I haven't gotten that far. Seen about 10 episodes so far. Both Ricky and Stephen are great as well.

I skipped a head, because I am a fan of Warwick. His work on "Life's too Short" was pretty funny. He plays the role of self important prissy actor well.

Anyone know the rules around a "player to be named later" trades? Is there a time limit to name the player? Like 60 days, or a time limit after the season is over?

The reason I ask, is I am wondering if anyone has every used PTBNL as a way to trade draft picks? Or can picks not be traded for a certain time? I'm thinking about you trade a player for PTBNL, then on draft day you tell that team who you want drafted.

There has to be many rules in place to stop this, or it would have been done.

I think you cant trade away a player (that's recently been drafted) for a year.... I think.

Part of my ST was moving from a BB Torch 9810 to a BB Q10.

Well ... after three weeks with the beating that the Q10 was giving me I've moved 'back' to a Bold 9900. Am sure there are BB OS10 fans out there ... but I'm just fine with OS7. It's not like you have a BB for the apps.

If anyone here has an HBO subscription, I can't recommend HBO GO enough. Every episode of every HBO series free on demand. The Wire, Band of Brothers, Generation Kill and Entourage have been keeping me up at night.

For fun:: if you had to recommend 3 TV series to someone new to TV (it's hypothetical) what 3 shows would you recommend?

That's pretty tough. In no particular order:

Breaking Bad
Game of Thrones
The Simpsons

Alternates:
Seinfeld
Dexter

I'm sure I'll change my mind after others start naming shows...

Cool hypothetical. Since there are a ton of great shows dating back several decades, I'll limit my selections to shows from the 90's on. And I'm going to cheat and list 5.

1) Seinfeld (how can you not have a show about nothing on the list)
2) Frasier (dry wit at its best)
3) Lost (great character development and awesome twists, got gradually weaker though)
4) The Sopranos (just amazing)
5) Arrested Development (brilliant writing, awesome cast)

Alternates: The Office, CSI, Sherlock, Twin Peaks, The Wire, Monk

If someone had never before heard of TV then that would seriously limit any modern comedies with pop culture references. That would leave out being able to show them something like The Simpsons, because half of the jokes wouldn't land. So I would stick to entirely plot driven shows that create their own environment for entertainment.

Breaking Bad would be the top of the list. Band of Brothers would be second. The last spot is tough, because I would want to share comedy, but so much comedy is driven off topical humor. Because of that I would take a plot driven show that also happens to be a comedy, and for those reason I would have to say Scrubs.

So my three would be Breaking Bad, Band of Brothers, and Scrubs.

However there are so many good answers you could give that wouldn't be wrong.

Been watching house of cards recently. If you like cooking stuff at all there's a series on Netflix called "the mind of a chef".

Glad pitching issues aren't just with the rangers

SURPRISE, Ariz. -- Jarrod Parker and A.J. Griffin will probably start the season on the disabled list instead of in the Oakland Athletics' rotation.
A's manager Bob Melvin said Friday that Parker has right forearm tightness and soreness and would be examined Monday by Dr. James Andrews in Birmingham, Ala.
Melvin said Griffin has a sore elbow and would be examined by team physician Dr. Douglas Freedberg and have an MRI Friday in Scottsdale, Ariz.
"They're both in jeopardy of not starting the season with us," Melvin said. "Obviously, potentially it is a couple of blows for us."

I don't know how many times I have used lines from Seinfeld in my speech. Even on Rangers boards I have said a couple of time "It is a Festivus miracle". Or someone starts talking about a person or people in a negative way and I will say "People, their the worst" or telling someone "No soup for you". So obviously that is #1 for me. I watch it over and over again. After that it is a toss up. I also enjoyed Everybody Loves Raymond and the dad had great zingers. I mean what is better than to be told you have a trophy wife and the comeback is "What kind of trophy in hell did I win". But just to show my age, before Seinfeld when I was younger I loved to watch the Andy Griffith Show. Barney would crack me up.

Good choices. MASH had the most-watched series finale of all time and Seinfeld had the third most-watched finale of all time. Cheers was #2.

Any of you all watch Downton Abby? We kept hearing about it so someone gave us the first 3 seasons to watch and we just finished the first episode of season 2.
