Up by the river there is awesome. Great scenery.

My parents were both born in Osmond. I know nearly everyone from that town.

There's a darn good chance they know my mom if that's the case. Or at least my uncles...they are both older than my mom and would be closer in age if I were to guess. Seems like everyone up there knows just about everyone.

I tromp thru that area quite often. I've had my guns worked on at Upper Missouri Trading Company in Crofton a few times.

I have a very good friend here in Omaha that grew up in Verdel.

I go to the Bristow/Spencer area a lot and usually take Hwy 12 up. If I'm not in a rush I'll take scenic 14 back.

we were up in that area last winter cleaning some poopy stuff
Creighton and Pierce great country --wind farms en sech and that river view is awesome

story about Pierce -- I guess thar was a drug bust and the utes threw a gun in a sewer pond
the sheriff and city dude had to get in a boat to lurk for the gun
the city dude was not happy

Knox County...my grandpa lives in Bloomfield, and we hunt a little ways north of town.

that is literally where i always hunt.

we got kicked out of our big pasture by niobrara a couple years ago :'(

There are so many deer up by Niobrara that they literally can't get rid of them fast enough.

It's illegal to hunt on Indian Reservations so the deer obviously end up multiplying there much quicker and then they'll head out yonder from the Reservations and they end up in all those small towns up there.

gramps had hunter there since 1950 and some guys little girl ends up with all thee land and kicks us out, smh

Got my first deer on a little strip of public land between Santee and the river. Hardly anybody knew it was there, but it was a great spot. We'd probably still go there if my grandpa didn't have his land. His place is much closer though, and there are quite a few deer around.

If I remember correctly, I think you may have to sneak across some private land to get to it unless you take a boat.
