Going deer hunting this weekend up in northeastern Nebraska...the 3" of snow they are expecting up there on Friday night will make for an awesome weekend, provided it doesn't keep me from getting up there

We have friends from Alabama who travel up to Northeast Nebraska every November just to deer hunt and my parents put them up for a week.

That's great. My mom's side of the family is from up there. She grew up in Osmond. I've been going up to Bloomfield my whole life. I love it up there...anybody who says Nebraska is boring scenery and has nothing to look at has never been there. It's beautiful.

Up by the river there is awesome. Great scenery.

My parents were both born in Osmond. I know nearly everyone from that town.
