I think Shanahan saw what he wanted to see from Lance out there today. He looked pretty good after the early jitters

Started out ugly for Lance but seems like once he relaxed and settled down he found a groove and his play was strong.

When he flashes he really flashes and you can see why he was picked 3rd overall. That second TD throw was a pretty high level throw for a 21 year old kid with limited QB experience

Yeah I mean wide open passes are one thing but throw a dart in between two defenders on target is impressive. I know it's early but this QB draft class could live up to the potential, we are already seeing it with some of the guys.

Great offensive line, Alvin Kamara, and what I expect to be a motivated Michael Thomas.....Just need the QB to be solid

Payton saw enough from Jameis. Brought in Hill lol

Hill need to do some crazy shit if he wants this job.

Jameis just make more sense. Don't have to change the offense much compared to how it was with Brees. Biggest change will be adding the deep ball. With Hill, you have to change everything about the offense

Maybe but a ton of QB’s could win with that supporting cast. Jameis is a horrible leader.

Yeah. I agree. Even last year i didnt think hill was an nfl qb. Payton has to be salivating at having a wb with an arm now. Can throw intermediate and deep. Hill is just a football player. He will have a big role. But jameis is the right call. Also think that jameis with another good coach may evolve some. Hea still gonna do jameis things. But if he cuts down on the crap 25/30% ….he does enough great things. Really really wanted him in pgh. Oh well on the haskins train.

I would hope so. The only time he limited the hill packages last year is when brees was hurt. Assuming they keep Ian Book then i fully expect Hill to play the same role as previous years
