As far as I have read 1 devils prospect Alexander Vasyunov who scored his first nhl goal last year and former devil karel rachunek were amongst the dead

3 former Preds were killed also. They were talking about it on the news and it was hard for the players to talk about.

Between this plane crash ,the rangers prospect who died of a heart problem with inadequate medical support at the arena and Elias coming close to death from hepititus I am starting to wonder why anyone wants to play hockey in Russia
