Boykin 40- 4.69 (slower than he wanted-I think he was trying to run in the 4.5s)
Coale 40- 4.40 (great time for him)

Sounds like they duplicated those times again (still unofficial though). Said Boykin has a pulled hammy

That is a lot lower than I expected from these guys. Chris Givens from Wake put up 19 reps.

The bench press is a very low indicator/predictor of what a WR can do on the field. It has nothing to do with running good routes, getting open, catching the ball, and running after catching the ball. Even blocking as a WR in the pros is more about getting in the way of an opponent or diving at his legs.

Surprise surprise, DC is catching everything thrown at him in the drills.

Coale looking real good, hasn't dropped anything today. Boykin struggling...but Blackmon and a couple other higher profile WR's are dropping a balls as well. Stephen Hill looking like a man among boys.

This may sound ironic, but I feel like catching is almost an overrated skill nowadays. Plenty of "elite" wide receivers are also knows for having bad hands. Also, the Packers and Patriots wideouts, who were heralded all season, dropped passes and cost their teams their respective playoff games. That being said, a complete body of work (like Coale or Blackmon) and good speed measurables will certainly lead to a good draft spot. I can't help but think that tall, fast GT wide receivers are just riding Megatron's coattail.

Disney is reporting a 4.50 for Coale. Legitimate or just Disney?

Wilson is still among the fastest RBs that ran today despite his "disappointing" time. I just scanned the list but the only person I saw who was faster was Lamar Miller (4.40).

Wilson also had a 41" vertical!!! Everyone else was around 35". I expected impressive numbers out of him but DAYUM!

Other Wilson numbers:

Broad jump: 132" (slaughtered everyone by a mile. No surprise since he's a track star)

Also, Coale and Boykin's shuttle numbers aren't too bad. 11.22 for both on the 60 and both are sub 4.3 on the 20. Boykin was a fairly slow on the cones though. Hopefully his pro day is better. My guess is Coale sneaks into the 2nd round while Boykin is a late 3rd to 4th rounder

#VaTech RB David Wilson with a very impressive 41" vertical leap. Definitely an eye-popping number. Been the top RB in workouts today for me

#VaTech RB David Wilson just continues to look really comfortable as a pass catcher and route runner. Looks the part of a 3-down NFL RB.

#VaTech RB David Wilson is a pretty smooth route runner. Displayed the ability to go get the ball out of his break. Nice catch. Nice job.
