I've used this analogy before, and maybe I'm the only one that understands it or cares, but it's a lot like when they started enforcing the rules more strictly for the NHL back in 2005. When it first started, it seemed like the games were just constant penalties and everyone freaked out. Lots of people accused the refs of ruining the game and stuff. Then the players adjusted, and there weren't so many penalties, and now it's turned hockey into a much better sport overall. I see that being how it works for these basketball rules as well.

I'm a bandwagon basketball fan so I don't know much about anything other than when I played as a kid. Right now I would tell my players to flop because if you don't they will. Could be a crazy and comical year until they put an end to flopping.

also, with regard to the players adapting...apparently Miles brought in a bunch of officials for practice in the preseason, although there's a big difference between practice and a real game. we should have that figured out soon.

In Miles' postgame, he said he didn't want to get into trouble criticizing the officials. That he thought the new rules would work themselves out. It's something the team needs to adjust to.

There's also talk of new rules for future seasons of a foul for blatantly flopping.

They'll be recruiting good actors before long.

Yeah I've watched a few games this season and this crew sucked. That's why Miles says he didn't want to get into trouble...is because he could have gone there.

Not all games this season have been painful to watch.

Disappointing loss....

Fouls are a real problem for this team. We should win every game that we score over 70 points in and instead we score 90 and 74 and lose both.

Fortunately this team is extremely young. We have a lot to look forward to.......UMASS and UAB are both Tourney bound, so they are decent opponents

Yeah I agree with the D and FTs...although despite everything, they are scoring some serious points. There is plenty to be excited about with this group.

It should actually be a pretty even matchup. I don't care too much about uga basketball so I just looked at teams the we both played and it seems pretty even to me...but once uga starts playing teams who are even a little good we'll start getting our asses kicked
