And also this team has bought in and fight like devils on the boards and defense. It's beautiful.

Huskers do a great job neutralizing opponents offenses in the paint.

It's too bad they don't have a great offense in the paint themselves though. Hammond should fix that next season.

I would think that Miles would try to work Pitchford into more of a post role this offseason. We can't just have him hitting pick and pop 3's his entire career.

He's 6'10" with a 42" vertical.

I would have to believe there is nobody in the country who can actually reach higher than him. There is no excuse for him not developing into a solid paint player and using his ability to hit jumpers as a bonus.

What ESPN's saying: Nebraska [15-10 (7-6), RPI: 49, SOS: 22] The Cornhuskers may share some strange UAB-Michigan State hybrid DNA with the Tar Heels, and they likewise own two losses to teams just outside the RPI top 100 (at Purdue, at Penn State). That's where the similarities stop, because Nebraska lacks the depth of profile quality and is a super-long shot on the bubble that is probably one loss away from the NIT.

They're just not buying in yet.

I don't blame them.

Nebraska's only got 15 wins and needs to win at least 4 of 5 remaining games of the regular season.

They are a long shot.

Horseshit.

If we had made the NIT last year then we'd be on the good end of the bubble this year.

Since we didn't, these "experts" want to see us go NIT this year. They can't stand the idea of a team exploding onto the scene and going against their preseason calculations.

Fuck 'em. We'll just win out.

I honestly can't wait for our players to hear about this garbage.

They'll take it to heart and destroy whatever gets in there way. That's the kind of team we have.

I hope you know I'm doing that as a reverse jinx since it worked vs MSU.

I'm gonna keep making them.

Yeah, I know that. I did it to on the cbb forum vs Mich St.

Kept posting "No fucking way Nebraska wins this" over and over.

Think I'll root for Iowa, Minnesota, and Indiana tomorrow.

Huskers can still finish 5th if they win out.

On the bad flow of the game, Miles said "if they had been up in Omaha, they probably would have been out in the hallway (drinking beer)".

umad TomHusker?

Why would I be mad? I like his style. Colorado did the same thing when Bill McCartney (Or what ever his name is) took over and made the Huskers enemy #1. Miles is merely letting Creighton know that the Huskers are not gonna be the little brother any more.

Umad cuz no matter who wins, my team wins?

If Wisconsin loses and then we go undefeated and beat them to end the year, we finish 4th....no?
