Ohio St and Minnesota are also good wins.

I said before the season started Nebraska would need 20 total wins to make the NCAA Tournament. I've backed that down to 19 total if they can hold sole control over 6th place, finish 4 of 6 (with one of those losses on the road and the other to Wisky), and win one game in the conference tourney.

UAB was their worst loss, but that was way back in November.

I think we'll be seeing a lot more Rivers and a lot less Gallegos going forward. Particularly in Champaign and Bloomington.

BTW, I think I'm an Iowa fan tonight.
With Nebraska's road game in Bloomington on the horizon, the Huskers might need Iowa's help keeping Indiana off of Nebraska's 6th place spot.

I've been watching College Basketball all year and Benny is easily in my top 5 for best Defenders.

My guess is Gallegos will probably hit a big shot sooner or later and I'll be glad when he does. But I watch him and whether by design or by choice he just looks lazy to me on offense and standing around waiting for that 3 point opportunity. Now, logic tells me that Miles has him out there for a reason and he's probably hovering on the perimeter by design. But then make a shot from time to time. And it kills me when he's taking those 3's with 20 seconds left on the shot clock.

Anyway, I'm not one to bag on a college kid. Give me Petteway, Parker, Shields, Pitchford and Rivers (or Peltz just to get a white guy on the floor and because he looks like he belongs on soccer field too)

By the way, Harriman made it sound last night like there is no chance Petteway is leaving after this season.

Next season is going to be one of the most anticipated seasons in Nebrasketball history.

I remember a couple in the early 90's that were very highly anticipated.......but next year has got to take the cake.

Any early thoughts on this Penn State game tomorrow? I have a lingering fear that this game will be closer than it should be, and Huskers may even be trailing at halftime. Somehow it seems like that would only be appropriate for Husker fans after that big win in East Lansing.

I have the same concern. This game is even more important than the Michigan St game. It's must, must, must, must, win. The pressure is on.

Penn St won @ Ohio St on Jan 29th when OSU was at the tail end of their slump.

I'm just so used to being here in the past only to have my heart ri.......NVM

Here's hoping they stayed focused this week and kept their heads out of the clouds.

I do not believe we will blow them out.

Penn State has one of the best guards in the country.....they can make things happen.

They are a team that is literally seconds away from being above .500......and they went on the road and beat Ohio State as well as Indiana.

I would really love to see the Huskers finish this game strong like they've done against their last two opponents.

It would be a "trend" that they're continuing to reach the next level.
