So Nebraska is sitting in 6th place and the Big 10 will likely get 6 teams into the NCAA Tourney.

Is it best to root for teams currently ahead of Nebraska (6-6) or behind them?

For instance Iowa (8-4)(3rd place) is at Indiana (4-8). If Indiana wins they go to (5-8) and close the gap on Nebraska in 6th place.

Same goes with Ohio St (7-6) (5th place) playing Northwestern (5-8) on Wednesday.

Nebraska is likely going to lose a couple more, so I think we need to root for the teams behind Nebraska to lose and stay back there. If Nebraska can win 4 of their last 6 they'll just need a Big 10 Tourney win to get an NCAA bid if sitting in 6th place.

The easiest one is Illinois (3-10) @ Minnesota (6-7). Nebraska wants Minnesota to lose that.

Nebraska obviously can't catch Michigan or Michigan St. so root for them to keep winning.

They're the only team with a resume that comes close to ours, but they have more wins overall and they have their name.

Watching this game and seeing how Miles got Benny and Rivers to come in here and do what they do is absolutely amazing.

They both accepted roles where they won't score the ball......they have specific Defensive goals and they both nail it.

We do probably need 5/6 and a win in Indy. That will ensure if we do have a bad loss we will have a quality win to go with it, Or just a loss to Wisky and it will put us at 20 wins. If Sunday wasn't a fluke then we are capable of doing this. Trips to Champaign and Bloomington will be tough but neither of those teams is playing all that well right now. If it was a fluke we'll find out soon enough.

Its too bad we choked at State College, also that the refs have no Idea what the difference is between a block and a charge anymore. We'd be in a much better spot right now.
