Huskers take Game 1 (6-4)

Winning a road series would be nice. They need to get back on track from losing the NW series at home. It was coming and hopefully that was a wake up call. They need to put the Up/Down offense in Up for the rest of the season. They don't control their own destiny on the regular season title, but they have what it takes to win the conference tourney.

On Tuesday they get a chance to sweep Cretin (3-0) on the season. They probably need to win 9 or 10 of the last 13 to be Regional material without an Auto-bid.

It's doable. They don't play Indiana in the regular season.

If they can make a Regional without needing an Auto-bid, I promise I won't bash Tim Miles for 3 months.

Nebraska had bases loaded in the to of the 7th only to strike out and leave them stranded,
