Waldron pitched an absolute gem. Should have come out 2 or three batters before he did.

How that guy didn’t make All Conference is beyond me.

Seriously, Waldron deserved to win that game

That stung.

From being in control of the Regional and only needing one more win, to now needing 3 more wins.

Waldon had a great night. Glad it wasn't he who gave up the homer.

The defense played well. Kudos to Jake Lyons on keeping Nebraska's offense scoreless for the last 6 innings.

If you keep saying things will be bad, eventually you will become a prophet.

One inning away from only needing to win one more game. Unfortunately they found themselves needing 3 more and fell apart.

They scored 1 run in their last 15 innings

They gave up 22 runs in their last 13 innings

Just wanted to say gg last night. I didn't get to watch it and went to bed thinking it was over. Woke up this morning and saw how it ended and that was nuts. I wanted to be cool about it here and in the baseball forum but honestly there is no clean way to do that.

It was epic for us but awful for you guys. Tonight didn't go as well for us but UCONN burned their pitchers so hopefully tomorrow is better.

Anyways I get it. The loss today didn't matter because your season ended yesterday-it would have taken some team of destiny type stuff to overcome that. Probably not the season you were hoping for, but that is college sports. We've all been there. At least college football is around the corner and when Daniels is dominating the LOS yall can think about where he came from and smile.

To be fair, UConn could also be a 'team of destiny' if they win tomorrow. Probably even more-so since they've played through the losers bracket since day one.

I said last Monday I thought this was a winnable bracket and still feel that way. Probably the most favorable bracket Nebraska could have hoped for.

I even liked their Super Regional chance against the Texas Tech bracket since they had beaten Tech earlier in a Frisco, TX. tourney.

550th player drafted. Im assuming the GM's most scouts have stopped watching. who is drafting all these people?

If AA is caring about the 550th pick. i hate him worse than i do now

I'd assume given technology, those later picks are based a lot more off of analytics then some scout. not really that familiar with it myself. happened to watch Trouble with the Curve the other night, pretty good baseball related movie.
