Not a fan of how Nebraska and other teams get signals from the dugout for pitches then the catcher does a bunch of pats and signals to convey the pitch to the pitcher.

Thought for a long time it slows the game down.

Watching regional games now and it’s refreshing to see catchers just get the pitch from the dugout, the catcher reach down and give a sign with the fingers and on our way.

Also, get off my lawn

I think it is more optimistic than pessimistic. He's pointing out that Erstad knew what he was doing, pitching #2. His genius results in the Huskers putting their best on the mound, while okie lite will have not their best take the bump.

I totally agree with you R_A, Erstad is the man and we're lucky to have him.
