Haha well I said earlier in the year that there was no way MSU was making the FF after their really bad stretch. And then they proceeded to right the ship and destroy everything so I felt like an idiot and changed my tune.

I don't know which was right, probably in between. I never felt their bigs were good enough but guards usually win in the tourney so....just strange

Yeah idk what it was about them I was just never all in. Maybe cuz I watched them struggle with Minny(even though Valentine was out)? Costello improved big time this year but I never fully believed. Every game I watched was a dog fight against quality but not great teams.

I thought they had potential to lose to Dayon(lol), Seton Hall(lol), Utah before even
Playing Virginia. Maybe I was just delusional.

But it saved me taking them to F4.

But, there is some consolation. Tomorrow marks the 50th anniversary of my Miners win over Kentucky.

Still the only Texas school to win a Men's Division 1 NCAA basketball championship.
