Damn I bet you miss those Paul Pasquiloni days? The boring triple option offense. At least they had some solid defenses.

:facepalm3:

Sorry mall....but that fuck is part of why I have to keep a beard and wear sunglasses when I go to Syracuse. They hate me there cause I speak truth. The guy took a great program and fucked it away.

Sure he had a decent record. His stats belong to two people. Coach Mac and and Donovan McNabb. Without Coach Macks reputation for recruits and McNabb's ability to take his fucked up plan through broken plays and make TD's.....shit you brought back some dark memories.

Pasq was a good guy...a gentleman. But he has no business being a HC.

I can hope Babers can lead me out of the cave.

ND has to do a better job on the boards. Can't give UNC extra shots.

The so called experts that rated these teams should just quit and find a career better suited for them.
My point was that the difference between top seeded teams and the rest of the field really isn't that much.

Oh I agree. McNabb made that program special for the time he was there. MacPherson was wonderful and I think a lot of people forget what he did to that program before Paul rode the curtails of McNabb. I thought Marvin Harrison was one of Paul's guys or no?

If you aren't going to watch the Final 4 like you said why do you even care now bro?
Because I'm hoping NC will prove they are worthy of their top seed.

UNC is the walk of the ACC when they are playing ball. UVA was next in line. The one and done is a brutal event. But this is UNC's game unless they lose their minds.

There isn't that much top talent to go around so there shouldn't be this much parity.

ND can't rebound even when the ball falls into their hands.

The overall talent this season is lower than it was the past couple years for sure. This years NBA draft (minus the top 2-3 picks) really won't be that special.

I agree, We might only see like 4-5 picks actually start next year on a team. Most will be bench players.

Normally I don't agree with you but yes I agree. The talent level is low when it comes to the NBA over past years.

so far so good. They are having a great tournament. Their D wasn't great tonight but ND made a lot of tough shots.

Lets see what happens these last 3 min.

I think so....But I would have to look to be sure. It seems to me that him and McNabb came at the same time.

Pasq's problem was run, run, pass. It's hard to pass when it's 3 and 8. He wouldn't let his athletes be athletes. He was a fn control freak.

But when the plays broke down....it was on. Coach Mac lived on the edge and brought back something that SU hadn't seen since back in the day. The dome was a brutal place to play when mac was there. I had headaches when I left. It was crazy.

Yep.

Lots of busted blue chips like Skal, Diallo.

It was also guys like Simmons, Ellenson, Jaylen Brown and Rabb picking non power schools. If those guys had picked the typical power schools, this year would have a totally different landscape.

Meeks has taken a Big step back, He came into shape but then got hurt and took a step back. I hope next year he gets it together. Him and Hicks, Berry and Jackson(hope he stays, needs 1 more year) can keep UNC in the top 4 of the ACC next year.

UNC should be great again next year. Berry, Hicks, Jackson, Meeks, Pinson and Britt are a great core group of players.
