Yep it's tried and true. There are lots of other meals you could substitute... but most people can't cook them and it gets expensive and confusing for them.

Salmon is great too.

The problem I had when I tried it the first time was that I craved carbs............

I wanted bread, noodles, things sech as that...............second time I tried it I just drank a bunch of water whenever I craved those things and made my stomach believe that it was full.

It worked.

There is 39 grams of sugar in ONE can of coke or 65 grams of sugar in 20 oz bottle. So if you drink what you said you did you are consuming 403 grams of sugar a DAY. 1 teaspoon of sugar is about 4.2 grams so you are consuming about 95 teaspoons of sugar a day. :L

I honestly may have been on the low side.......

I can say that coke is the reason I have a weight issue to begin with- I know that I have known that for a long time.

In the past I've simply quit drinking coke and lost as much as 30 lbs in 3 months, with no exercise and still eating 1000 calorie cheeseburgers on a very regular basis.

Holy crap man. That is ridiculous amount of pop and sugar sir. I would recommend drinking more water and tea and if you must drink pop try to drink diet pop with your whiskey. At least that way you cut out the sugar

Last week I started drinking diet tea... I buy the 2qt gold peak.
That has the fake sugar in it, I know that isn't good for you either.
I tried the unsweetened and just doesn't suit the pallet.

So now I've been blending the unsweetened and diet trying to wean myself of the sweetness that I'm so accustomed to.....

On that note, I need to get back to working out and eating healthier again. I did really good for a couple months but have slacked off the last couple weeks

I actually really havent done any running but have done a lot of walking at around 4mph on the treadmill and that has worked well for me.

I really dont like treadmills either but it worked well when it wasnt very nice out and is just convenient to not have to leave the house to workout.

It honestly is amazing to me how much better I feel since I quit smoking.... I mean- I've always know it's not good for you. But I didn't know it affected me that much- I mean I was 15 when I started so it always just seemed normal to me..

I am not sure what you do for that but it really helps just get your body going in the morning and helps you get on right track for day. It doesnt even have to be a lot, a lot of times I will just eat a banana or some kind of fruit right before I go to work

Yeah.. I need to figure a routine out for that.

I ran out of time this morning- I planned on making a egg sammich. But by the time I got out the shower it was 7:30

When I was goin through my health craze I just ate a couple nanners in the mornin'......

I learned from reading an article online that 1 egg has about 1 day's worth of cholesterol in it.................that scared me.
