LOL he aint an alcoholic, he's just an amateur like you said who has zero idea what his limits are.

He must have been chugging hard alcohol. You don't puke blood and shit yourself without continuing to drink when you get the spins. He must not have even gave his body a chance to warn him.

When I first got to Berlin, GE years ago I lived in the barracks for a few months. The rooms only had a sink and mirror and the shitters and showers were down the hall. I had a roomate who'd get hammered at the base club and puke in the sink then go pass out leaving a clogged sink full of puke. The first time it happened I just went down the hall to brush my teeth and shave before work thinking he'd clean it up when he woke up. I went off to work and returned to the room over lunch break to find he'd just got up, got dressed and went to work leaving it there. That disgusting slob was removed the next day.
