I made it thru the weekend without turning it on. Let the house cool down at night with the windows open. Close them up first thing in the morning and use the ceiling fans. The house never got above 76 yesterday. Wirh high humidity this doesn't work tho.

High humidity and low 80's here. Airs been on for a while. I don't like to get hot especially when I'm trying to sleep.


My wife said something about it being up in the 90's in Nebraska. If so that will probably be here in a few days only hotter.

Sat in Omaha is was 91 record high and Sun 90 tied the high. Today mid 80's. Change start tomorrow highs only in the mid 60's

its damn near impossible for me to sleep if it gets above 70 degrees in my room. i keep a thermometer by my bed and if i wake up in the middle of the night its almost always at 71 or above...i have to keep a window unit in my room in addition to the central heating/cooling to keep my room cold enough

I would much rather have it cool too but just couldnt turn on AC yet with weather going to be significantly colder this week. I am just too cheap and dont want to pay for the AC
