i'm no expert either, but i have seen a fair number of coyote tracks. it was pretty cool though. i'm pumped to hunt on my grandpa's new land...its pretty awesome. we were out on the 4 wheelers checking it out yesterday and there seems to be quite a few deer in there. unfortunately that will have to wait until next year.

The whitetails took a bad beating from parasites due to the drought this past year. Muleys didn't seem to get effected by it.

yeah they were apparently finding a whole bunch of em dead in the streams...the parasites gave them fevers so they would die in the water trying to cool off. pretty sad. my cousin found some pretty good sets of antlers just by walking the creek.

A mountain lion track is usually much wider than that track en sech....

Sort of off topic, but many people confuse mountain lion tracks with big dogs. The tracks can often look very similar, but the difference is a mountain lion retracts their claws when they walk, so there should never be claws in the print.

No shit.....

When I lived at the Links I could practically walk out on my balcony and shoot a turkey....

I didn't even see that you posted this picture before I wrote that, but that ^^^ looks like a big dog track to me.....

I agree with you JJM

The one I posted could be a wolf or other big dog due to the claws.

However, a mountain lion would have a rounder track then the one origionally posted IMO.

As I said, I'm no expert as I don't think I've ever seen a mountain lion track.

I've never seent one either.......

Actually the only reason I knew that about the claws was because we found a track outside of town here a few years ago in the mud and we gave it to my uncle to show a guy he knows who works for the Nebraska Game and Parks and he gave us that feedback. Said what we had was simply a large dog print en sech.

Just made some Runza's........I used a large muffin baking tin so that I could get the dough thinner......filling them by hand you have to have thicker dough so they don't fall apart, but then they are too doughy for my personal liking.....

These turned out fucking awesome......I'm going to do the same thing to use leftover cubed turkey to make my own turkey pot pies......

:hungry:

Nice you have a recipe for the dough

yeah, it's pillsbury pizza crust......:L

I'm still trying to figure out my own dough.......I've tried a few, but struggle to get the consistency I like.......using a muffin tin though I'm going to experiment with making my own dough again since I can form it thinner......

Every recipe I've tried blows up too much......maybe I'm using recipes with too much yeast.....

Either to much yeast or the water temp. Should be around 80to 90 f.
