in my personal opinion, yes. He put up those numbers while being the 3rd option in OKC. The in depth statistics (like those that synergy sports tracks) on this kid are unreal. for example, he is in the 97th percentile in scoring using the pick and roll amongst guards. Statistics like that, along with many others, show that this kid has the potential to be a #1 option.
He is already the best 2 guard in the league, with Kobe and Wade being the two ahead of him. And both Kobe and wade have more miles behind them than they do in front of them in terms of NBA minutes
I personally think he was worth every penny of the 5 years $80 mil. but only time will truly tell

but its also important to remember that it was just 1 game and it was against a team that ranked 22nd in the NBA in Defense last year.
