Jake Sorenson will be attending the open tryouts for nebrasketball..... i've met the dude...hes a solid 5-11 with shoes

i've considered going. i was pretty good on my second grade team. also in 4th grade i played at halftime at a creighton game. we weren't supposed to play much defense, but i swatted the SHIT out of some kid.

I made 98 out of 100 free throws in a Regional Free Throw competition once.....

I won that competition

When I was attending UNL I drove to the Devaney on the day tryouts opened up.......and I was too chicken to do it.

I am still upset with myself to this day. Wanted to try it more than anything in the world, but didn't think I'd make it......and I figured I'd just make an ass of myself.

I knew a guy who tried it and he didn't even play basketball in high school.......just went for the hell of it.

I'm one of those guys who just doesn't like failing, and so I was too concerned about not being picked to walk-on to the team. And in all reality, looking at the other walk-ons, I really think I would have made it.......looking back, I'm almost sure I would have made it.

Dadurnit! That's why I drink alcohol now
