i guess its hard because she wants to be friends...

the only reason we broke up is because i have a bit of an alcohol problem.

if you can cut down on the alcohol, and the need for her that you're probly feeling, then i'd say go for it

i am trying to...and have tried to several times. i truly have a problem, and just quitting drinking is not the answer. it would be the answer if i could do it but i can't.

Are you sure? Seriously if my girlfriend would have told me to quit doing anything..........anything at all...........I'm dead positive I could have done it.
