Your point is valid, definitely more so on the coaches, but I have a hard time believing that NOBODY told the kid to throw the ball away to avoid a sack, nor that it ever occurred to him.

That's a high school freshman mistake, not a college player with a whole season under his belt.

I've seen pretty good QB's do some stupid things when they are frustrated and 4-5 guys are bearing down on them virtually untouched.

Pass block for the kid and open some holes for him. Catch the ball when he hits you in the hands..

Yes the OL sucked tonight, I think we all know that by now.

We'll just have to agree to disagree here. Sure it isn't all on T-Mediocre, but he was part of the problem. I expected more from the kid and was disappointed.

I think it's worth noting that Cody Green obviously just isn't an effective passing QB..........I've seen enough now to easily make that conclusion. He releases way too early and when you do that as a QB you never know where the hell the ball is gonna end up.........usually they sail way too high when you do that.

I am legitimately concerned about what were are going to do next season at the QB position

I'll be objective as I can here - Washington played as complete of a game as they were capable of. They definitely stepped up on defense, although I still should add that if we had any offense to speak of, we had several opportunities to put them away.

They prepared for this game. The Huskers? Last year they played a team much better than this one following a horrific offensive year, and kicked their asses all night. This time I can't fathom what it is that made them think they were prepared, because obviously they weren't.

Hats off to the Huskies for putting their all into this game. I don't think it did much to raise Locker's stock for the draft, but I wish him well in any case.

For the Huskers, I don't know who to trash on first - Watson, Cotton, or Martinez. We all saw what we saw, and so did the rest of the country.

I am truly embarrassed by what I saw from our team tonight, I don't know how else to put it.

Watson, Cotton and Martinez are all deserving of being trashed.

I don't think Martinez is any better than Green.

I heard again a few hours before this game that Zac Lee was healthy yet those bastards refused to let him play.
Of course ole Barn's troops sure aren't much help either.

Our coaches gave them plenty to be confident about for their trip to Lincoln next season.

We should've beaten a 6-6 team tonight, but we didn't, so I have every reason to believe that Washington will come to Lincoln with great confidence and will win that game unless HUGE changes are made offensively.
