My first game was the same as pops first game......which is kinda crazy

It was so ridiculously hot that day, but I remember being so excited that I didn't even feel the heat until the next day when my face was burnt to shit.

My first AWAY game was at Norman, Oklahoma in 2004.

It was cold and rainy. We kicked a field goal as time expired to put 3 points on the board. Jason White completed like 19 passes in a row that game to set a new record at Oklahoma.

my first away game was an experience. went to Ames with some buddies. I started drinking in the car on the way there. Bought my ticket from a scalper. Got more drunk. Bought a second ticket after losing the first one. Saw us eek out a win (I think it was in 2011? It was the last time we played there) and partied it up in Ames all night. Got lost, got kicked out of a frat house, puked in the middle of a main street, and finally found a place to sleep.

Overall, the whole trip was a giant shitshow, now that I think about it

95 vs #8 K-state. Got there a tad late and my 1st play in memorial stadium was Fulman's punt return to the house with Ruckers helmet shedding block. Prior to attending the game, I'd heard it was loud in there. But when that helmet went flying, the roar was deafening. I've attended many games since, and have yet to hear it as loud as that. It was 49-6 after 3 and K-state scored 19 garbage time points. 49-25 final
