It is hard to formulate an honest answer from it all in general. The consensus that RG and AA were going to be something special was accurate, also that our Defense was "young"
group DL. the SEC has shown if you can run the ball well and have a good defensive line you should be able to do great things. plus our secondary has always been ok under bo.
qb race: still hearing tommy will start but also hearing he hasn't slam the door shut.
You saw when he was in, his burst off the line is exceptional. Really good size too. If he puts it all together like all the players are saying he seems to be, it could really take our D to a completely different level.
The biggest question is the LB's. I think those guys have a slow start and really pick things up as the year goes on. So much depth and talent there. I just don't see there being anything that can keep them from becoming a good unit. They just need a little more time for the light to come on.
I disagree with ya brasky. Last year the LBs started slow and came on strong. I think they will continue the stellar play they had goin towards the end of the season last year
Best news we can hear is that Rose and Banderas are having a good camp. Could be some young darkhorses in there like M. Newby who is apparently a freak.
Nate Gerry - ok, he has speed but will he be better now that he is back at his high school position? I hope so.
Adam Taylor - with the current streak of critical seniors being injured (Burkhead, Martinez, Long), if Ameer goes down is Imana Cross the Man? Or is Adam Taylor that talented to usurp from Imani?
Drew Brown? Does Nebraska have another four year kicker? Has Bondi corrected his mistakes of low trajectory that makes his kicks easily blockable?
