The Red Sox have any left handers remaining?

Kozma really has continuously killed the Cardinals

I was hoping he'd try to bunt for a base hit again.

And the decision to leave Wainwright in to face Ellsbury wasn't too smart, IMO.

I think they'll throw Doubrant as much as they can.

I can't see the Sox using Dubront in game 6. My guess is he's the main guy they go to in long relief in game 7 if Peavy fails early. I have zero faith in Peavy going far if there's a game 7

Lefty, Morales hasn't pithed since Detroit. (Blown save - 2 batters, 1 hit, 1 walk)... I doubt they'll use him in a close game...

If it goes 7, it'll be all hands on deck... Peavy, Doubront, Dempster, Lester, Morales. et al.....

If they have a lead in the 5th inning or so and Lackey's pitch count is up, they should throw Doubront to get to Tazawa/Uehara in the 8th/9th. Win it tonight. Cardinals hit just .238 against lefties in the regular season

With runs at a premium, STL can NOT let Ortiz beat you. If that means walking him in the 1st inning, so be it. Wacha has been great in the post season but Ortiz has to have the bat taken out of his hands.

As for Wainwright, he has been great for the Cardinals this year...BUT, I am tired of hearing ....he hung one slider, or he hung one curve ball. This is the time of the year that your ACE can NOT hang anything. I know the offense has been questionable, but I am tired of the HANGING pitches.

GO CARDS......

Its not Wainwright's fault that the Cardinals can't hit left handers

Why is Daniel Nava not starting for Boston tonight?

I know he didn't start the other two games in Boston, but he was as big of a threat in St. Louis as Napoli. He's a good hitter and a real threat against right handed hitters.

Ah, poor Gomes. Looks like he has caught Mike Trout disease.

"Soft liner to short left field, Gomes jumps and makes the catch a few dozen steps short of the warning track"

Cardinals not looking at all like the team that got to the WS

The regular season, thats a big inning. The postseason? Runners left on base with no outs
