Series Thread: tOfficial Cardinals vs Red Sox

Is it just my take on things..............

Or were the 1st two game of this 2013 WS real stinkers. There just wasn't any pazaazz to either game. Kind of like drinking a space pilot without the 151% rum. If it weren't for the accusation that Lester was cheating these games would be pretty damn dull.

Maybe it's just the fact that I could, actually, care less for either of the teams. But then again thats happened before and the games never seemed this dull. If someone gets plunked with a pitch maybe it will get a fire going in one or both of these teams. Something needs to happen to spice things up.

Or maybe I'm just becoming a grumpy old fart?

It might be just you. The first game wasn't as fun becasue the score was so lopsided from the start, but it was odd how the runs were scored with sloppy D.

Yesterday's game was great, with the classic Fenway triple - then a 1-0 game until the 6th when the ball flew into the monster seats (fly ball anywhere else?) for a 2-1 lead change -then the Cards taking the lead back right away with some sloppy Boston D - then Boston almost scoring in the 8th - then the Cards closer shutting it down with authority in the 9th...
