I think people giving up on Riley are jumping the gun. The layoff probably hurt him more than anyone on the team.

I'm not giving up on him. Or Touki. Or Wright. But I don't think Riley will is even close to being an All-Star. He's all power right now and for whatever reason is having trouble with pitch recognition. If he can hit 35 bombs and hit .250 he will be more than serviceable.

Yep. Let him battle and learn. See if the offense wakes up and can get him some run support. That'll boost his confidence.
