Alex Jackson is exactly what you want from a backup catcher IMO. Great defensive catcher. Of course, we don’t like having a primary and a backup catcher, so he’s not much use as a catcher that pretty much splits time. He has more value than Flowers, aka The Passed Ball King IMO
