In defense of our Allrad pick he was a good prospect who threw 95 until he had a serious back injury and lost velocity and could only throw 89
Yep I really, really liked Allard. I thought he might be a star, I held out on that hope far longer than anyone else lol

If I'm not mistaken, he's starting for Texas today. It'll be interesting what he does.

I mean Folty, Wright, Touki. Teheran. Wilson has looked like crapped.

Touki has regressed. He looked real promising in 2018.

I don't think we can blame coaching on Folty. He was already in the bigs with Houston when we got him, and he was in the Cy Young discussion in 2018, and was pretty damn good in the second half last season.

And Julio had a long, pretty decent career for us. I mean, he came up the same year as Freddie. I'd take Julio over any of what we're running out for the 3-5 spots in the rotation this year.

At least with Julio you know what you were going to get every 5 days. Folty would nearly throw a no hitter one game, then give up 8 runs in 3 innings the next game.

Julio never was great outside a couple of seasons early in his career, but most of the time, he kept us in the game.

Folty was definitely a wild card. He put it all together in 2018, but his two starts in the NLDS last year sums him up perfectly. Unhittable one start. Can't get an out the next.

Can't get mad at Dansby right now. He carried the offense for a bit, but Freddie better at least bring the runner in from third.
