What's more concerning is that those closest to the situation deemed Wright to be a better option than any of the other prospects.

Soroka is really the only top pitching prospect that has panned out. It makes me pretty concerned about Ian Anderson and Tucker Davidson.

We need to look at our development of pitchers in the minors. All those top pitching prospects, scouts and other teams drooling over them and only Soroka and Fried have panned out so far.

I'll reserve judgement on Anderson, but Wright should've been ready last year to play a role. He's pitching like he'd get crush at AAA right now.

It being a short season and with expanded rosters, it's not as big of a deal as a normal year. 10 man bullpen that includes Tomlin, who was a starter for nearly a decade prior to last season.

Pretty much what I see in Kyle Wright is that unless he does some serious improving, being a specialist to get righties out from the bullpen is his future, but with the new 3 batter minimum rule, specialists out of the bullpen have been greatly devalued(and I'm all for that, facing a Gabe Kapler managed team with expanded September rosters was torture with his 20 man bullpens)

In defense of our Allrad pick he was a good prospect who threw 95 until he had a serious back injury and lost velocity and could only throw 89

With Nick coming back, I don't think we'll see Pache or Waters this year. We might've seen them without Nick and if someone went down with an injury.

I would've brought all the kids up that were close and played them year. That's 60 games of MLB experience, in a season that if it gets completely played out many people are already putting an * on the WS winner
