Question of Indiana fans. At what point does having a young team stop being a valid point? At this point of the year, freshman have been coached up and should be gaining more confidence and getting more comfortable with schemes. Getting the ball to your best player isn't a difficult basketball concept, Vonleh has to the touch the ball.

The first half we shot terribly, and the second half we were a completely different team..but Indiana has to keep getting Vonleh the ball. I was excited about our comeback, but at the same time I couldn't believe Indiana's lack of basketball IQ in situations. Maybe I've been spoiled by getting to watch Bo Ryan coaches basketball teams, but these are simple things that Indiana isn't doing.

On a Badger note: I hope his second half shooting means Ben Brust is out his slump, if he's going this is a much more dangerous basketball team.

It hasn't been a valid point in awhile, there's not much this team can do when they can't drive the ball. Yogi is our only shooter. It's been addressed with our recruiting class so we'll see what happens. Getting Vonleh the ball is pointless when he's quadruple teamed. Teams know Vonleh and yogi are our only good players and that's why we're so easy to adjust against.

Games Tonight

7:00 PM (ET) BTN

#16 Michigan (11-3)(19-7)
Purdue..........(5-9)(15-12)

Michigan (-5.5)

9:00 PM (ET) BTN

Nebraska (8-6)(16-10)

I dont think Michigan will have a hard time at Mackey. Neb better watch out for the Illini, I think the Huskers can win but they should take Illinois very serious..

adding shit houses like rutgers and maryland should be enough extra wins to get an extra conference team in the tourney.... rutgers needs to bring back the abusive coach asap.

Michigan pulled a Syracuse, Last seconds OT W over a not very good Purdue squad. I hope the Wolverines dont make this a habit..

I don't mean to sound insensitive but I could care less if Rutgers and Maryland both live in the cellar for decades (maybe throw them a bone here and there to keep it interesting). It's really about the $$TV$$ marketing and recruiting grounds.....with a side of academia.

I'm not going to lie that was one of the best wins this year by Michigan.. After the big home win, they squeak out a tight one in a tough road game.. With that said, Purdue should be better.. They have a legit 7 footer on that team..

And yeah Rutgers is trash.. Their location and campus should allow for elite talent to enter that program.. Them and Depaul are the biggest jokes in CBB atm..

It's always good to get a road win. IMO, there is at least a 5 point home advantage due to the refs not wanting the home crowd to go nuts on a close call, the unfamiliarity of the facility, travel issues and most teams enjoy the home crowd support. All those things make enough of a difference that any reasonable team can knock of a much better team on their own court.....sssooooooo; good win.

Speaking of calls; has anyone ever done a study of the number of fouls called against a home team as opposed to being away?.....Two weeks ago Syracuse at home shot more foul shots than Duke(forgot how many) and yesterday at Maryland, the Terps shot 27-4 for Syracuse. I don't think the refs consciously try to be lopsided, but it seems to work out that way.

It's embarrassing to see all our talent go out of state. Pretty much every player on Michigan, Michigan St's star player, Kentucky's top player in the 2014 recruiting class, along with the Teague brothers, and many more. :gaah: How can you not convince these kids to stay...:bawling:

MSU also has three Ohio kids: Payne/Dayton, Trice/HuberHgts, Kaminsky/Medina...plus
Seven Michigan kids and one walk-on from Wyoming.

We've had some tough losses to those guys up north, but there are certain areas of this state up around the border that just grow up as michigan fans.
