That may have been the second biggest result for Nebraska all year, because it seems really unlikely the B1G will only get 5 teams. I challenged Minnesota's ability to get to 20 wins earlier in the week based on the difficulty of their schedule. Losing at home to Illinois just compounded that.

Nebraska hasn't won anything yet and needs to hold onto that 6th spot.
The only way to do that is keep winning against a favorable schedule. I think if they can hang onto #6 and go 4 of 6 to finish they'll get into the dance as long as one loss is on the road, one is home to Wisky, and they get a first round win in the Big 10 Tourney.

I said even before the Nebraska/MSU game than Nebraska had better odds to make the tournament than Minnesota did. Minnesota looks NIT bound after last night's pathetic showing.
