I was guessing because of the boom in Computer Science majors in recent years that would make it more difficult to get into that than elementary education
It's not on par with Engineering as an undergrad. You don't have to take the difficult math or science courses. Although I did take up to Diff Eq because I was trying to become a Engineering transfer and failed.

I can't disrespect CS because my roommate was a CS major and he's doing an internship with the Air Force this summer in cyber warfare and some of the classes he was taking were just ridiculous. Brutal major but the end result is beautiful

I'm kinda shocked you think it's a hard major. I personally found it to be easier than EE. I hate programming though. So glad I wasn't required to taken General Calc Based Physics even thought I did take part 1.

Different strokes for different folks. I can control a class full of 8-10 year olds better than I can do advanced mathematical formulas. I can't disrespect any major because of the sheer amount of people that I see now going through high school that aren't nearly motivated or smart enough to continue their education

Yeah CS just doesn't compare to the likes or most Engineering, Pre-Med, Math or Pharmacy Degrees. Pharmacy is straight hell because of the sciences you have to take plus having to maintain and higher GPA and prepping for the PCAT.

My cousin is Pharmacy at Iowa. That family is all sorts of fucked up with one graduating from Illinois and another at Iowa. But I still see CS as a tough major lol

I'd be intrigued to see what happens if somehow Iowa could win out. That'd leave them at 18-13 (10-8) with 5 or 6 Top 50 wins and a good DoS. RPI would still not be great but the bubble stinks so at least I'd have hope. Of course that requires winning in Madison so probably a pipe dream but gives me a glimmer of hope for a few days anyway lol

Another good job by the Gophers. 7 in a row and they're playing better every game it seems. Lynch with 11 blocks today!

More importantly for Lynch: 0 fouls

Mason came up 2 assists shy of a triple-double too.

We also could beat out Maryland for the 3 seed for the Big Ten Tournament depending on how this week plays out and who wins the Big Ten. If Purdue wins the regular season title, we have the tiebreaker. If Wisconsin wins the regular season title, that likely means they'd have beaten us in the finale and give Maryland the tiebreaker.

The way I see it right now

Locks
PURDUE
WISCONSIN
MINNESOTA
MARYLAND

ALMOST LOCKS
MICHIGAN ST
MICHIGAN
NORTHWESTERN

WORK TO DO
ILLINOIS

ON LIFE SUPPORT
INDIANA
IOWA
OHIO ST

I think MSU, Michigan and NW get in. They may not have to win another one but it would help ( especially for NW and Michigan)

I think Illinois is in better shape than some here do. I believe a win over MSU would put them IN assuming they don't get a bad loss after.

Indiana, Iowa and OSU need to win out in the regular season and then probably get at least 1 in the B10 tourney to get into legit conversations

Sure hope you guys are right about Maryland. Their fade was easy to see coming, they could lose out with only 3 games left.

There aren't enough losses left to keep them out lol. There are going to be 13 or 14 loss teams in this year.

You may be right but they do look at how team are playing. But that win last night should be enough.
