Right now, I don't see a single team going to the Sweet 16 from the Big Ten. If I had to pick one, it would be Purdue.

Badgers were basically an elite 8 team (were beating ND the entire game except for the last seconds) with a worse team last season. They can make the sweet sixteen but not if they shoot like this. My god they were 3/23 for jump shots today outside of OT.

Didn't the Badgers championship team lose to Rutgers?

Where did you go? Come back buddy.
You're joking, right? The guy who said 50 times his team just lost to Rutgers is telling me to come back when all I said was this was pathetic? Was I the one who said the game was over or something? I just came in to see you talking to yourself in a community forum, that's it.

You're one of a kind, dude, in the very worst way

You bailed on this thread after UW took the lead. I just wanted to know where you went.

I posted my exact reasons for visiting this thread. And then I went on continuing to enjoy my visit in Sevilla. That's in Spain, in case you don't know what I'm talking about. How's Wisconsin?

Well that was unexpected. Dropping 85 on OSU without Jok??? Maybe these young guys still have some in the tank. After the last few games I was thinking they'd hit the wall

Once again Maryland wins close games,. It's been a pattern for years as they get the stops and hit big free throws in the final minutes almost every time out. Really gritty team..

I have to say the biggest difference between the BIG and the ACC is the quality of the officials. Big Ten officiating is terrible, it shows itself nearly every game and it is a noticable difference..

Turned on the Michigan/ Michigan State game. What is on the front of the State's Jerseys? Looks like MAC to me?

Well atleast I think we can beat them at home in a week. Both teams are quite mediocre.

There is a very legitimate shot only 4 of the 14 teams end up above .500 in league

I think MSU is going to go on a run here and peak at the end of the season. Indiana seems to be regressing and Minnesota has lost what 5 in a row now. I think at least 5 will be above .500 but I could see it being only 4 as well.

For me Maryland is probably the biggest surprise in the BIG. They nearly lose their entire starting team from last year yet they're tied for first place.

Generally I'd agree on MSU because of their track record. Problem is they just aren't very good. They could finish withis 10 or 11 league wins but that's more a function of the flaws of other teams as opposed to MSU flipping the switch

Their track record, coach and talent level is all excellent. However they're one of the youngest teams in the league. I guess I just assumed mid way through the BIG season they would start clicking together as a team. This stretch here might be the easiest part of their schedule so they could start that run now. They did beat a good Northwestern team which makes me believe they can beat the good teams in this league.

Minnesota and Indiana are looking like they will be lucky to make the NIT with the way things have gone the past couple weeks.
