Does Indiana win all the tiebreakers?

They still have head to head games with Iowa and Maryland and only a 2 game lead.

Plus, MSU and Wisky have 5 losses

I feel they just make shit up as they go along. It's why it's hard to even get mad when your own team gets screwed in a game because all refs suck and bunch of other teams are getting screwed at the same moment.

the officiating has been bad everywhere this year; not sure how to compare with other years, but it's been bad this one.

I and half a million other Texas fans about blew our gaskets yesterday.

Yeah it actually annoys me more when I'm impartial to the result. Because that's when I know I'm not even being biased about finding the call awful lol.

When Marquette gets screwed I don't even really bitch anymore because I just expect a made up cal to happen during the game and that all teams get deal wth it.

What the hell happened to Iowa??

They looked like a #1 seed now they are heading towards being a #6 seed in the Big 10

The Big 10 makes zero sense.

Teams adjusted to Iowa and MD, Mich St. Got healthy, Indiana is God like at home and Purdue is the darkhorse

If Indiana loses out PLUS Maryland wins out:

Indiana would be 1-2 versus Iowa/MD in 3 way.
MD would be 2-0 versus Iowa and Indiana in a 3-way.

Indiana would be 1-3 versus Iowa/MD/MSU in 4 way
MD would be 2-1 versus Iowa, Indiana, and MSU in 4-way.

Indiana would be 2-3 versus Iowa/MD/Wisky/MSU in 5-way
MD would be 3-2 versus Iowa/Indiana/MSU/Wisky in a 5-way.

Indiana loses all 4 possible tiebreakers to Maryland if that happens.
Indiana needs to win at least one more game or one more Maryland loss.

I don't think Maryland beats Indiana in their home regardless, so it is mute point.
The Big 10 title is delayed a bit for Indiana.

But then again, I might be complete wrong .... and wasted time looking it up.

Badgers are struggling at home vs an average Mich team. Hayes needs to stop shooting. He easily has the worst shot on the court. Only reason he averages so many points is due to freebies at the line. We will lose if he keeps chucking it.

Iowa can't win close games. It's been that way for years. Even when they were 19-4 they were 2-4 in games decided by single digits. Now they're 3-8 in those games. When your PGS are your worst FT shooters and your leading scorer runs from the ball the last 2 minutes that's what happens.

Clinched a share tonight with the Iowa loss. I'm confident we'll win it out right but at the very least it counts as a B1G championship.

Badgers are still a very weird team. Struggled badly vs Illinois for a while. Then win big road wins but those teams they beat have been dreadful lately. But they are great road wins regardless.

I think they win this one stil rather easy. I think they are a clear tourney team. But sill a 10 seed type team. People who look at the Maryland/Iowa games and call them a FF dark horse is a big stretch still imo.

But who the fuck really knows this year.

I think only Maryland, Michigan State, and Indiana are still alive for the #1 seed and tiebreaker title in the Big 10 tourney.

Would Indiana really hang a conference title banner if they are the #3 seed and lost all head-to-head games to the #1 and #2 seed???

That is like something Texas A&M would do.

Once again, I think Indiana beats Maryland regardless.

But, the Terrapins still have a pretty good chance to at least play a winner take all game in the last game.

This is a team that cut the nets down following a loss, so you never know. :dhd:

Those two banners have all the years we won the B1G title. Kansas' run of 12 straight titles includes shared titles. That's how the basketball regular season works. And the Big 12 regular season football title works.

This is exactly how everyone thought Iowa would be playing this year. I think the highest I saw them being picked was 7th in the Big 10.

I'm thoroughly disappointed, but I'm an Iowa fan and have lived with shit like this my whole fucking life. That's why you NEVER see me typing shit like "That's the last game Iowa loses this year" or "Iowa is a solid 1 seed". There are some real amateur Hawk fans here.

so who's it gonna be George?...
Indiana, Maryland or Iowa...or?

13-3 Hoosiers @ UI and vs MD ... end 15-3; 14-4; or 13-5 (lost once to MSU; beat UI once)
11-5 Terps vs ILL and @ IU ... end 13-5; 12-6; or 11-7 (lost once to MSU; beat UI once)
11-5 Hawkeyes vs IU and @ MICH ... end 13-5; 12-6; or 11-7 (lost to IU & MD once each; beat MSU twice)
11-5 Spartans @ RU and vs OSU ... end 13-5; 12-6; or 11-7 (lost twice to UI; beat IU and MD once each)
10-5 Badgers vs MICH and @ MINN and @ PUR ... end 13-5; 12-6; 11-7; or 10-8 (1-1 w/MSU, MD and IU; beat UI once)

5 teams could end up with 11-5 records

Based on the scenarios and how the tiebreakers work:

I would probably give the odds

85% Indiana
6% Maryland
4% Michigan State
3% Iowa
2% Wisconsin
