We apparently won a "secret" scrimmage over Northern Iowa 72-57, with Vitto Brown and Zak Showalter having big games. Throw in Happ, Hayes, and Koenig, and our starting lineup is actually looking really good. Maybe this won't be a relative rebuilding year (ie 5-6 seed) that I thought it would be.

Not saying sconny wont be good(when can you count bo out?) but you are nuts if you buy into these scrimmages even a little bit. Mean less then those foreign tour results for teams

Wow! I hope your guys don't hurt Ferris' guys.

Hey you never know, MSU lost to Grand Valley one year in an exhibition game.

I'm very excited for college hoops since the football team decided to piss their whole season away in embarrassing fashion last Saturday.

Yup. It can happen but is so unlikely in this case. (I am a professor at Ferris State University.)

Terps lost Dion Wiley for at least 4 months... knee surgery. Shouldn't be too big of a loss, he was a "depth" player at this point.

IU's offense is looking lethal. Defense is looking okay. Easy to win at home though, can't wait to see how this team does in Maui.

I thought Ohio St was going to have real trouble this year bc they are so young. They actually have some post presence this year, it has been at least 3-4 years since they had big men that can not only score but do everything else. Yes, they are still very young but the talent looks good. We'll see how they play when they face better opponents.

Not to rain on your parade but Marquette sucks(lost to a bad team their first game and went to OT with IUPUI). Still a nice early road win though.

We suck. But Iowa looked a lot better than I thought. We aint going to get destroyed like that often(at least I fucking hope)

Can't win with no real PG, shooters and the 3rd least experienced team. THat was bad. Bright side is...Henry aint close to 1 and done!!

Nice job Iowa.

I have been really happy with how we are moving the ball. Having 2 true PG in the starting lineup AND 2 really solid shooters AND a big man that can pass it well really helps create open looks. Plus I was concerned with the youth off the bench but they really look like they know their roles and aren't trying to do too much. It'll be good to see them on a neutral cut against Dayton and then, hopefully, ND. After the tourney we get FSU at home. If we can get through the next 4 games at 3-1 I'll be ecstatic

Yup thats what was most impressive while Marquette has to pull a Twolves(Lavine) and play a guy like Cheatam(who will be stud) at PG when thats not his spot then you see Iowa with 2 guys that can play the position its impressive. Gessell and Clemens are just solid players all around and it makes the transition game deadly. Then Uthoff and Jok as shooters.

We are bad so we will have to see how Iowa continues against better team especially when they play a team like ISU. But so far they are def better than I expected.

Michigan gets bombed by Xavier, which is a good team, but I think Beilien is an overrated coach.

Well, you got one in Texas-Arlington. That Sunbelt mid-range team. First Ohio State home loss to a team other than a P5 non-conference opponent since 2008.

Bad showing for the B1G yesterday. Mich lost, TOSU lost at home to a team they were favored to beat by 19, Wisky lost again, and Maryland looked like shit against Rider.
