I don't understand what they were talking about. Even if Gasser was out, Michigan State had the ball in their possession and then they made a bad pass that Dekker stole. You couldn't reserve the call when Michigan State already had the ball.

Also, I'm obviously so proud of these guys. It would have been really easy to get depressed or complacent when they got behind, but they never did. They just expect to win, and never panic. The Spartans played a great game. They look like one of those 5-6 seed Izzo teams that makes a run to the Final Four. We shot terribly for about 33 minutes, and we still came through. When we had to score, we were literally scoring every trip down the floor.

I wish I was there today. I'll definitely be there in Indy, and I think they are fully capable of taking that next step.

Here's to praying that we avoid Arizona, Kentucky, Duke, and any team with attacking guards. They are our kryptonite.

They have a quality big man in Hammonds. Can't see Cincy having anybody to match up with him. They are pretty good defensively, but they go through stretches where they can't hit anything. I would expect the first team to 50 to win. If I had to guess I'd say Purdue will win, but I have no clue. Both of these teams are rather mediocre, and with the American being so bad, it's hard to evaluate how battle tested Cincy is.

In fact if I remember correctly, I can make fun you because they only got two bids.

I know this sounds crazy, but I'm not going to miss him when he's gone. Our team this year has had zero continuity and I think he's a big part of that. He's no doubt a very talented guy, but it just isn't working. Like last night, we finally start to mount a comeback, and what kills it?? Russell coming back into the game and jacking up an instant 3 when it wasn't necessary. It just seems to be all about him when he's on the floor.

Temple didn't get screwed, they just didn't win enough. They had a decent RPI, but their other metrics were awful. I too thought they'd get in, but they were my last team in the field. Left no room for error.

Tulsa was never close to receiving a bid. They needed the auto going into the AAC tournament, just like UConn.

The AAC was bad this year. Like I had been saying all year.

The best thing Coach Izzo did was not take that Cavs job when it was offered to him. And their pigskin program...as long as they aren't playing the Buckeyes I always root for them.
