Game Buckeyes...yall looked tired tonight...luck dancing.

MSU coach Tom Izzo is now 12-11 against OSU coach Thad Matta since Matta took over at OSU in 2004 – incredibly, the Buckeyes have 1,500 points in those 23 games and the Spartans have 1,508 points.

Damn.

Wisky can really pour it on when they want to. Unless the Big 10 is weak (like December), they're gonna be tough to beat in the big dance.

That foul on wells was one of the worst I've seen.

Big 10 basketball is almost unwatchable. I am trying to support the TERPS but its tough to watch the style.

But, it is such low scoring mucky basketball.

I guess it the style played in the region and works for the Big 10...but I really miss seeing Maryland play games in the 80

They can barely break 70 points at times.

that basically the style all across the country this yr. according bilas and several others major rule changes are coming in the offseason. fan interest is at an all time low due to such slow, boring play. hopefully they resolve the tv timeout problem as well

I'm sorry, but I can't stand watching teams like Indiana who just rush all the time and make stupid mistakes. Why do people somehow find it enjoyable to settle for bad shots instead of watching a team use crisp passing to eat apart a defense?

Yes, when the teams suck at it (like Nebraska or Penn State), slow play is boring. When it is done well (like Us or Michigan State or Notre Dame or Kentucky), it is so much more exciting than the alternative. Maryland is somewhere in between the two, with a very overrated offense outside of College Park. Don't confuse bad play for a boring style.

It will be interesting to see if they go to the 24 sec shot clock next year like he predicts. Or if they only reduce it to 30.

I know this sounds crazy, but I'm not going to miss him when he's gone. Our team this year has had zero continuity and I think he's a big part of that. He's no doubt a very talented guy, but it just isn't working. Like last night, we finally start to mount a comeback, and what kills it?? Russell coming back into the game and jacking up an instant 3 when it wasn't necessary. It just seems to be all about him when he's on the floor.
