For me, last second XP. In the Cal game, it was coming on the heels of a solid comeback effort and showed some really positive things from both sides of the ball. The players seemed pumped, the atmosphere was rocking again (obvious even through the tv), and there was a sense of things going in your favor. Then...sudden and catastrophic heartbreak.

Even in a sort of reverse progression like in the OkSt game where we had the lead then just saw it whittle down and mistakes being made, there was still hope that the team could hold on just long enough. Then...nope.

However, with a situation where everything you do is just wrong and terrible from the get go, you have the whole game to come to terms with it, and it loses its suddenness. Still sucks balls, but the pain isn't as sharp. Maybe I'd be more angry if ND and TCU weren't top-ranked teams.

YMMV though.
