Just had a 25 min phone convo with my brother..... He was asking me about fishing laws in Nebraska..... He lived here from the age of 13 to 18......


He's worried about and all the rules and such when he moves back this summer cuz he's been in Hawaii for 6 years..... catching these.... From a fucking kayak

He just needs to keep a fishing guide in his tackle box for general info. Any state park will give him one. Most lakes are posted for size and possession limits at the entrance and by the boat docks as well.

He's asking questions about how many hooks on a line and such..... i was like.... i dunno....... I use the same rigging all the time, that I seem to have good luck with.....

No more than 2 lines w/ maximum of 2 hooks on each line. I see people break this all the time particularly on crappie and catfish rigs..

Is that one line- one line on one real......

Or.....

Can I have a weight at the end of my line...... one line about 4 ft up..... with a ft or so line and a Treble..... then about another 4 ft up have another out line with a treble....

Is that one line with two hooks... or two lines with 6 hooks?
