I live in the Northwest part of town. I'm just barely outside of Marana town limits. Marana basicly annexed a huge part of Northwest Tucson area (it wasn't ever part of Tucson anyway) and they will become the huge suburb of Tucson like how many people nationally know of Tempe and Scottsdale as large parts of Phoenix as in still part of one huge damn area of folks....

That's a great area, I am very familiar with Marana, I built a BofA bank at Cortaro and the 10 there where the Wallymart is, and a Wells Fargo bank on Tangerine at Dove Mnt. I always liked working in and around Tucson, it was nice to get away from the enormity of PHX

I haven't seen his film but heard it was impressive. Best of luck on Signing Day. VT has never really recruited that well, but Beamer and staff have always been good about getting a few stars and surrounding them with under-the-radar types and helping them reach their potential. Mike Gentry's strength and conditioning has helped immensely in this department...BRS noted a while back that Gentry's visit to Nebraska's weight program in the mid-90s paid huge dividends for us.
The one thing we have been lacking lately is a quality OL. Our DL this year was the weakest its been in some time, and our LB corps suffered a pretty big dropoff too. We really missed Cody Grimm. You'd laugh at the kid getting off the bus, but when it was game-time, he was one of VT's best ever, despite his lack of size and speed. Kid was tough as nails.

My guess for who we might get with what we have left open is for Lockhart and Virgil. Maybe a JUCO guy still. It would not surprise me at all to take only one more in with this class and save the open ships for next year, as there is not a lot of room for that signing class like beaver already posted in the other thread about ship #'s
