Now I've went and opened my mouth and I'm probably going to end up upsetting someone here........I apologize, not at all putting down Catholics......it's just something I don't agree with

I have a couple friends who are Catholic, and I remember when we were younger they would always complain about having to go do something like 200+ "Hail Marys"...........this is just my personal opinion, but that is just uncalled for. There are no written rules anywhere that say we have to do this or that to get to Heaven........

Not sure what it takes to get into heaven other then compassion, honesty and a subconscious that we all have... which tells you daily what the right thing to do is and what is the wrong thing to do! (Funny how most everyone has one of these). Some people obviously do not or they have something that has caused them to lose their subconscious directions, but I think for the most part...it gives us a good path to follow...

This is not directed towards you JJM, but people in general!

SAD, that we as a people feel a need to apologize for this type of comment, but yet we can hammer away at non-religious issues whereby we tear down people, criticize and down right get ugly for the sake of race, ethnicity or prejudices!

I went to one of these churches one time in Omaha...........I felt very uncomfortable when a girl next to me dropped to the floor and started making loud animal noises and then screamed out "RID ME OF THE DEMONS!"

I think I actually said a prayer right then and asked God to keep me safe while I was in that church

The number of times you have to say "Hail Mary's" is up to the priest who assigns them at confession. They are all different in their dicipline.
My ex used to have to do like 60 Hail Mary's for not going to confession for a certain period of time from one priest and a different priest may only assign 20.
