Went to both games of the double header today...froze my ass off in the process

I won't tell you what the temps have been here.....

Speaking of freezing asses off at baseball games.....

When I was in the Navy, going to electronics technician school in Great Lakes, IL......we spent all winter there and when spring time came, before we graduated, a friend and I wanted to catch a Cubs game before we left....It was early April and absolutely amazing day, sun shining, nice and warm.....we're wearing shorts and t-shirts basking in warmth after a shitty winter....my buddy was from Alabama so neither of us were used to cold (I was about 6 years removed from Nebraska and transplanted to the southern AZ desert)

We get to Wrigley and our seats are in the shade and the wind is just friggin howling through the place.....fuck that was cold.....we seriously thought about buying overpriced Cubs sweatshirts, but seriously preferred to freeze our asses off rather than wear Cubs gear.......
