just the $10 meter fine. but i guess i dont pay enough every semester for a permit... damn all.

also got pulled over recently on campus... those campus officers are everywhere :frown:
got off with a warning though

Sadly, the women's team lost 69-61 to Iowa St today. Thus ending there season.

Sweet 16 last year.....3-13 conf record this year.

Someone told me that if you're not a student at UNL, you can park in the garages and get a ticket, but you don't have to pay it because they have no way of looking you up.

So after I was done being a student at UNL, I went and parked in that garage all the time so I could go use the computers on campus.......and I got several tickets. I would just throw them in the trash........never had to pay any of them.

UNL campus police are petty assholes. WHile I was in college a buddy of mine wrecked my car, totaling it. I went to the campus police to get a replacement window sticker for my new car (which was an even crappier clunker than my old car). They said I’d need to either pay for a new parking permit, or else bring in the old one. I went to the junk yard where my wrecked car was located, and broke out a chunk of window about the size of a frisbee that my sticker was on (the windshield was already broken). I brought the broken chunk of glass in and plopped it on the UNL campus police asshole’s desk. They gave me a new sticker.

I remember you could write in an explanation for why you were parked where you were parked and if you could come up with a good enough excuse they would let you off...........I did that a few times while I was living in the dorms. You just have to come up with something like "oh my brother was in town and he wanted to take a tour of UNL's campus so he took my car while I was in class and he didn't know which lot he was supposed to park in."

I don't even have a brother....
