Blackhawks win the shootout 1-0 to take 2 points and the Yotes only get 1 point for the shootout loss.....

Do you ever stream movies from a computer through your playstation? I've been reading about and want to copy all my dvd's onto a external hard drive if I can then watch them through the playstation.....Well ideally I'd like to watch them on my directv dvr's but that's a little different....You doing anything like this?

I don't have a play station, however if you want to copy your dvd's over to an external you have to decode them to defeat the proprietary feature built into them. Programs are available for this very sort of thing.

Do you have any recommendations on software? I think the key for the hard drive is that it has to be DLNA compliant in order to stream to things like the playstation and my directv receivers....

unfortunately not, there are many decrypting software programs available, there are some obvious copyright issue's to defeat but there are some tutorials on youtube. I have only done it once and that was few years ago and I don't recall the name of the one I used but it turned out fine

Ok, I've been looking at some and just was curious if some were better than others. As far as the copyright stuff, I don't care about breaking the stupid encryption when it's for my own use.....I'm not going to be uploading my movies to my millions of close friends or downloading other folks movies.....

I just want to be able to have convenience of watching all the movies I've actually bought on any tv in the house without having to search for discs is all....:D
